About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team at Childbase Partnership. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding care and education for our children.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the nursery, including planning and implementing engaging play experiences for children aged five and under. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and implementation of play activities that promote learning and development
  • Work closely with the nursery team to create a safe and welcoming environment for children
  • Assist with the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times and sleep times
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children, including feeding, changing, and comforting
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive nursery culture

Requirements
  • Recent experience of caring for children aged five and under, ideally in an early years setting
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts between 07:30am-18:30pm, Monday-Friday, all-year-round
