Financial Director

Butler Rose is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. This is a permanent role that will play a vital part in the organisation's financial function.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance department, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of financial resources.
- Produce management accounts with detailed commentary for the senior leadership team, providing valuable insights into the organisation's financial performance.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring the organisation's financial stability and liquidity.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and addressing any audit findings.
- Manage VAT returns and other financial duties as required.
The successful candidate will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have equivalent experience. Experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent financial management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
