Interim Group Finance Manager Opportunity

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to join our client, a market leader in the hospitality sector, on an interim basis. The role offers the potential for a permanent position and can be operated on a full-time or part-time basis (30 hours per week) to suit the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assume responsibility for all accounting protocols and maintain robust internal controls
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant reporting standards
  3. Identify and implement ongoing improvements to the finance function
  4. Act as a key point of contact to external stakeholders and major suppliers
  5. Production and delivery of detailed management accounts
  6. Management of the payroll function (not administration)
  7. Regular liaison with investors and internal stakeholders

The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or suitably qualified by vocational experience, with a solid background in supervising staff, preparation of financial and management reports, up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls, and a natural leadership style.

The contract is available for immediate commencement, and the role will be principally based from the company's headquarters in Hayle, with scope for hybrid working.
