Land Acquisition Specialist

About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled Land Manager to join our Aggreko Energy Services (AES) team in the Central Belt of Scotland. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for identifying suitable land for our energy projects and negotiating with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to secure necessary development rights and consents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct land feasibility assessments, land referencing, and diligence to identify potential land sites for renewable energy projects.
- Develop land rights budgets and programming to support project planning.
- Negotiate lease agreements, easements, and other land rights with landowners, ensuring the best value for the project and maintaining AES internal red lines.
- Liaise with local planning authorities, environmental agencies, and other stakeholders to address concerns and obtain necessary consents, permits, and approvals.
- Manage relationships with landowners and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues and ensuring ongoing compliance with agreements.
We're looking for an experienced Land Manager with a strong background in land acquisition and renewable energy project development. You'll need to stay up-to-date with industry trends, market values, regulations, and best practices related to land rights acquisition and renewable energy project development.
