About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our client's team in Cheltenham. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, adjusting, and repairing aerospace components using hand and power tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, adjust, and repair aerospace components using hand and power tools and machinery.
  • Adhere to technical drawings, instructions, and processes.
  • Meet production targets.
  • Take initiative and work independently.
  • Communicate effectively with your team and line manager.
  • Share technical knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Participate in audits performed by external parties.
  • Contribute to internal audit and process improvement programmes.
Requirements
  • Practical experience and expertise in sheet metal techniques.
  • Previous engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • The ability to operate machines, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Experience with shaping various metals, including Titanium, Steel, and Aluminium.
  • A panel beater skill set.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Additional relevant qualifications or certifications.
  • Knowledge and experience with industry-specific technologies.
