2nd Line Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd Line Engineer to join our team at Paradigm Employment Services Ltd. As a 2nd Line Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote support to desktop and server issues, utilizing your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Install new systems in our Tech Centre and at clients' sites, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Offer 2nd line onsite and remote support for multiple technologies, including networking, servers, and desktops.
  • Troubleshoot known and unknown issues related to these technologies, applying your analytical skills to identify and resolve problems.
  • Manage incidents to resolution and within SLA requirements, escalating issues to the next tier when necessary.
  • Communicate and provide information to relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate organizational operations and effective service delivery.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Adhere to the requirements of our Quality Management System Policies & Procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Adhere to the requirements of our Information Security Management System Policies & Procedures, protecting sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
Main Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Managed Service Provider or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT systems and technical support.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or working towards, with experience in supporting Microsoft Exchange Server and its associated technologies.
  • Experience working in a data centre environment, with a strong understanding of networking technologies and their associated concepts.
  • Ability to work with a large number of clients with different technologies and requirements, applying your technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong understanding of supporting Microsoft Exchange Server & its associated technologies, with exposure to RMM solutions and their benefits in automation.
