Birmingham City University invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security to support and advance its growth in the cyber security discipline.
You will be expected to support teaching and learning for undergraduate/postgraduate modules, provide pastoral care to students, engage in cutting-edge research, and contribute to recruitment and outreach activities.
You will develop and deliver engaging teaching and learning as a member of the cybersecurity team in a variety of settings from small group tutorials to large lectures.
Conscious of inclusive practices, you will be expected to provide pastoral support to students assisting with their journey at BCU and equipping them with skills to meet the demands of the cyber security industry.
Further, you will explore and innovate ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery and obtaining and analysing feedback.
You will possess core cybersecurity skillset with strong experience of teaching at university level within different topics of cybersecurity.
Candidates with expertise in Cyber Physical Systems, Digital Forensics, Machine Learning and AI, and Future Networks are particularly encouraged to apply.
