Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Night Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Night Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of a prestige shopping centre in York during the night hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site/business safety through overnight monitoring and proactive security presence
  • Respond to alerts, monitor CCTV and fire alarm panel
  • Conduct area patrols, lock up and sign in contractors
  • Maintain records and complete paperwork timely
  • Handle crisis and emergency situations confidently
  • Fulfil additional duties as requested by the line manager
  • Demonstrate good communication, customer service and a strong work ethic, being friendly and helpful

Requirements:

  • SIA Licence
  • Driving licence - Desirable but not essential
  • Access to vehicle/good transport links
  • Able to reach the site within reasonable time period
  • Minimum of 1yr Security experience
  • Valid RTW and 5yr checkable history
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Hardworking
  • Smart appearance
