Key Responsibilities:- Prepare timely and accurate Monthly Applications for Payment in line with contract conditions.
- Provide commercial advice to the site team and management on all contractual matters.
- Prepare internal contract valuations, accurately assessing project costs and progress.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, the managing QS, and engineering disciplines.
- Compile and present forecasts at meetings, contributing to data-driven decisions and proactive risk management.
- Assist Contracts Managers and operational teams with sound commercial advice, leveraging industry expertise.
- Guide and mentor junior commercial team members, promoting professional growth and continuous learning.
- Manage projects to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience working within the construction sector is essential.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Competitive pay range and compensation package, including:
- ~ 25 days holiday plus BH, rising to 28 days with length of service.
- ~ Up to 20% combined pension contribution.
- ~ Opportunity to buy up to ten days' holiday and sell up to five every year.
- ~ Performance-related bonus of around 5%.
