Electromedical Device Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the South UK, covering the Isle of Wight. This is a permanent opportunity that offers a company van for business use. The ideal candidate will be an experienced medical devices engineer with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. The role involves providing technical support on various Stryker products, including acute care, patient transport, and advanced life support devices. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to customers, resolving issues and answering questions related to Stryker products
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of service and support
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in Engineering/Medical Electronics or equivalent, at least one of the following: Electrical / Electronic / Biomedical / Mechanical or HNC/HND in a technology subject with relevant experience.
- Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English and local language
- Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Oracle, Service Max, Outlook)
- 3 years hands-on experience in Medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills
- Experience in a Field Service role within the hospital environment and healthcare work
- IT experience on administrative and technical levels
- Experience and ability to build relationships with internal & external customers to drive brand loyalty
Salary and Benefits:
- An estimated salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
