We are seeking a skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team at the Neonatal Unit of Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Clinical Fellow, you will work closely with our experienced medical staff to develop your skills and expertise in intensive care for babies.

The role will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the management of unwell babies, including central access and airway skills. You will also learn transferable experience that will support you in any future career.

Our unit has 7 ICU/HDU beds, 13 special care beds, and 20 transitional care beds. We have a strong focus on continuing medical education, and you will have the opportunity to participate in an out-of-hours rota remunerated in line with the 2016 Junior Doctors Contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME), and contributing to sustainability efforts in line with the NHS Net Zero target.
