The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Acute Care Physician to join its team in the Same Day Medical Assessment Unit and Acute Medical Unit.

About the Role

  • Assess and manage acute admissions to the Acute Medical Unit and Same Day Medical Assessment Unit.
  • Conduct assessments of patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Participate in departmental Education and Training sessions.

Salary Information

We are offering a competitive salary of £70,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as access to study leave and training opportunities equivalent to a training post.

Person Specification

  • Full GMC registration with Licence to practise.
  • MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Has met Foundation Training Competencies.
  • Good level of postgraduate NHS work experience.
