Cherry Professional - Relationship Led Recruitment is seeking a skilled Procurement Expert to join their client's team. As a key member of the Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient, and customer-focused purchasing service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Sustainability: Understand evolving industry sustainability requirements and develop strategies to improve supply chain sustainability.
  • Inventory Management: Procure and manage stock for designated suppliers/product categories, ensuring close to 100% stock availability on managed categories.
  • Purchasing: Purchase products of the required quality at the best prices, negotiating contracts to ensure best terms and pricing.
  • Supplier Relationships: Establish and cultivate mutually beneficial relations with suppliers, developing and maintaining strong relationships to optimise supply chain efficiency.

  • Technical Aptitude: Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and develop technical product specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Highly organised in both written and verbal communications, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercially minded with strong financial acumen, results-oriented, and metrics-driven.
