Job SummaryThe Sourcing Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret procurement and supplier performance data. Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and organizing procurement data, supplier performance metrics, pricing, lead times, and other relevant information.
- Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvement areas.
- Evaluating and monitoring supplier performance by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, quality, and contract adherence.
- Conducting cost analysis, including total cost of ownership (TCO), to identify cost reduction opportunities and negotiation strategies.
- Maintaining regular communication with suppliers to gather data, resolve issues, and obtain required information for analysis.
- Maintaining organized records of procurement data, supplier communications, and analysis results.
Requirements include strong analytical and data interpretation skills, proficiency in data analysis tools and software, and basic Excel skills. A Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Experience in sourcing, procurement, or a related field is also desired.
This is a full-time position with Monday-to-Friday work hours. Some travel may be expected for training purposes.
