Treasury Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our team at Goodman Masson. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading our daily operational treasury functions and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the Treasury Back Office team, ensuring seamless execution of financial transactions and processes.
    • Manage key stakeholder enquiries related to banking and treasury policy risks, providing expert guidance and support.
    • Manage bank mandates and accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Systems & Process Improvement:
    • Optimize treasury systems and controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
    • Improve processes where possible, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
    • Document and design treasury procedures, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Accounting:
    • Assist in the delivery of treasury accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Audit:
    • Fulfill external and internal audit requirements, both annual and bi-annual, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Controls:
    • Own and manage the controls framework for the treasury area, ensuring controls are operating effectively and that evidence is properly documented.
Requirements:
  • Extensive cash management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical experience with TMS and ERP systems, with the ability to analyze and improve processes.
  • Treasury process development experience, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualification desired, e.g. ACT, ACCA, CIMA.
