Treasury Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our team at Goodman Masson. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our daily operational treasury functions, ensuring the effective management of liquidity, foreign currency, payments, reconciliations, accounting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations for the Treasury Back Office team, ensuring the smooth execution of treasury functions.
  • Manage key stakeholder enquiries related to banking and treasury policy risks, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Bank mandate and account management, ensuring compliance with treasury policy and procedures.
Systems & Process Improvement:
  • Optimise treasury systems and controls, ensuring the effective use of technology to support treasury operations.
  • Improve processes where possible with a focus on automation, reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency.
  • Document and design treasury procedures, ensuring clear guidance and best practices.
Accounting:
  • Assist in the delivery of treasury accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Audit:
  • Fulfil external and internal audit requirements, both annual and bi-annual, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Controls:
  • Own and manage the controls framework for the treasury area, ensuring controls are operating effectively and that evidence is properly documented.

The ideal candidate will have extensive cash management experience, strong technical experience with TMS and ERP systems, and proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships. A qualification such as ACT, ACCA, or CIMA is desirable.
