About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Paramount Global. As a key member of our Programming department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Nickelodeon's non-linear scheduling for all channels, including Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, and Nick Jr.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and distribute metadata for each platform partner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Coordinate with the Nickelodeon Channel Planning team and the Editor of Viewer Access & Listings to ensure integrity of non-linear schedules and run schedule amendments.
  • Create and distribute promotional image assets for each platform partner.
  • Complete and distribute accurate weekly blackout reports.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Nickelodeon's operational, technical, legal, and planning teams.
  • Review and revise operational workflows to drive greater efficiency and output.
  • Work closely with the Multi-Platform Content Manager to build strong relationships with platform partners' editorial and operations teams.
  • Work with platform partners to ensure Nickelodeon content is impactful across platforms, actively seeking out merchandising opportunities.
  • Track and review VOD competitive landscape to develop and improve non-linear programming strategies.
  • Analyze metrics and use data to strategize new non-linear programming initiatives to optimize VOD viewing.
  • Support the implementation and management of new platforms and VOD initiatives.
  • Lead and maintain Nickelodeon's Download-To-Own (DTO) services, ensuring revenue growth.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in content planning and programming, preferably within the UK market.
  • Experience developing and delivering strategic content plans across multiple platforms, ensuring commercial requirements are met.
  • In-depth understanding of rights management, rights issues, and broadcast regulatory requirements.
  • Proven understanding of the Nickelodeon brands and key competitors.
  • Skilled at evaluating research data and understanding audience consumption habits.
  • Strategic competitor awareness and knowledge of trends and developments in non-linear platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills in all formats, with experience communicating plans and priorities to internal and external partners.
  • First-rate multi-tasking ability.
  • Evidence of building strong, positive relationships internally and externally.
