Job Title: Multiplatform Programming Coordinator

About the Role:

The Multiplatform Programming Coordinator will be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of Nickelodeon's non-linear scheduling for all channels, including compiling and distributing metadata for each platform partner. This role will also involve coordinating with the Nickelodeon Channel Planning team and the Editor of Viewer Access & Listings to ensure the integrity of non-linear schedules and run schedule amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day operations of non-linear scheduling for all channels
  • Compile and distribute metadata for each platform partner
  • Coordinate with Nickelodeon Channel Planning team and Editor of Viewer Access & Listings
  • Create and distribute promotional image assets for each platform partner
  • Complete and distribute accurate weekly blackout reports
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with operational, technical, legal, and planning teams
  • Review and revise operational workflows to drive efficiency and output
  • Work closely with Multi-Platform Content Manager to build relationships with platform partners' editorial and operations teams
  • Track and review VOD competitive landscape to develop and improve non-linear programming strategies
  • Analyse metrics and use data to strategize new non-linear programming initiatives
  • Support implementation and management of new platforms and VOD initiatives
  • Lead and maintain Nickelodeon's Download-To-Own (DTO) services

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in content planning and programming, preferably in the UK market
  • Experience developing and delivering strategic content plans across multiple platforms
  • In-depth understanding of rights management, rights issues, and broadcast regulatory requirements
  • Proven understanding of Nickelodeon brands and key competitors
  • Skilled at evaluating research data and understanding audience consumption
  • Strategic competitor awareness and knowledge of trends and developments in non-linear platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate plans and priorities to internal and external partners
  • First-rate multi-tasking ability and evidence of building strong relationships
