We are seeking a skilled Risk Officer to support our Treasury team in managing credit risk and debt. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing credit reference agency and company accounts information to formulate recommendations for credit approval. They will also work closely with the Sales and Field Operations teams to obtain and review client information, and ensure that all necessary actions are taken. Additionally, the Risk Officer will be involved in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance processes to ensure adherence to relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of financial and analytical concepts. They will also be computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel. The Risk Officer will be responsible for managing bad debts by ensuring that the relevant policies and guidelines are followed, and will work closely with the Credit Risk Manager to ensure that all risk and compliance tasks are completed. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to continuous professional development, including relevant credit risk and debt management qualifications. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a flexible and proactive approach to working in a rapidly growing business.
