About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at Look Ahead Care & Support. As a Specialist Behavioural Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and behavioural needs to live full and active lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting individuals to develop independent living skills and participate in meaningful activities
  • Providing information, social inclusion, and vocational opportunities to support individuals to recover and stay well
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to develop and implement individualised support plans
  • Driving individuals to support them in their daily lives
  • Communicating effectively with individuals and their support networks
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism/Challenging Behaviour/learning disabilities
  • Driving licence and willingness to drive as part of support duties
  • Experience of engaging vulnerable individuals with complex needs in meaningful activities
