Key Responsibilities:

As a Calibration Engineer at AVL Powertrain UK Ltd, you will be responsible for developing calibration datasets in line with guidelines for relevant attributes. You will analyze results and prepare recommendations, ensuring dataset validation for all ambient conditions, both in facility and in territory. Additionally, you will liaise and report to various functions within the organization.

Required Skills and Experience:

You will need experience in diesel emissions testing and data analysis, as well as good knowledge of diesel combustion engine fundamentals. Familiarity with diesel exhaust after-treatment hardware, diesel EMS, and related tools and software is also essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with proven project management skills, are required. You should be capable of working independently as well as part of large and small teams, including leading teams.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

Good knowledge of diesel ICE OBD, SCR aftertreatment systems, data analysis tools such as AVL Concerto or equivalent, and statistical analysis methods and tools is desirable. Working knowledge and experience of Matlab is also beneficial.

Annual Remuneration:

The annual gross salary for this position is between £38,000 - £54,000, and we will offer market-conforming remuneration taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
