Special Education Needs Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Haringey. The successful candidate will have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and be able to provide 1-to-1 support for a child with development and communication needs.
About the Job:
- Assist a child with development and communication needs in a primary school setting
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO on progress reporting
- Support the child during other times in the school day, including lunch
- Help the child engage in play activities and socialise with other children
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs or in a care role
- Ability to provide 1-to-1 support for a child with development and communication needs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
