Job Title: SAP Transport Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Transport Controller to join our team at Staffline Express. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a crucial role in controlling the movement of goods and transport for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with EU/UK Operations teams and customers to ensure accurate information is provided and acted upon in a time-pressured environment.
  • Maintain and coordinate deliveries, updating and maintaining the SAP system for all Yard Management moves inbound to the customer receiving deck.
  • Identify, solve, and report operational inconsistencies, problems, and delays, escalating to senior management as necessary.
  • Provide feedback to Operations/Planning and customers on queries and issue resolution.
  • Book additional slots for extra deliveries, cancel slots for collections not required, and control and maintain dock slots as per the dock plan and operational requirements.
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Generate accurate reports for customers and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Planning experience in a logistics or transportation environment.
  • SAP knowledge and experience, with a strong understanding of Yard Management and transportation operations.
  • The ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong administration and decision-making skills.
  • Customer-focused and team-oriented.
