We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our Major Projects and Connections team, based at our site in London's docklands. The successful candidate will provide professional SHEQ support to colleagues, our supply chain and contract partners, and our clients as required.
Key Responsibilities- SHEQ Compliance: Ensuring company systems and processes are complied with via site inspections/audits.
- Monitoring SHEQ Performance: Monitoring the relevant areas of work for SHEQ compliance and bringing significant findings to the attention of the business Director and business SHEQ Manager.
- Health and Safety Culture: Implementing effective systems to further develop our positive health & safety culture.
- Project Support: Advising and assisting our Project teams on SHEQ matters.
- Contractor Management: Monitoring the control of contractors across our projects.
- Professional Development: Maintaining personal competence and professional development.
- The ideal candidate will possess the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- A strong understanding of electrical utilities is highly desirable, along with a NEBOSH construction/Diploma or NVQ Level 5 qualification.
