About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Winder to join our team in Exeter. In this role, you will take responsibility for winding tasks, repairing electrical motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating electromechanical machinery.

Key Responsibilities

You will conduct repairs on electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators, ensuring that all repairs meet high-quality standards. Additionally, you will bring your specialized electro-mechanical knowledge, focusing on rewinding AC and DC motors, stators, armatures, and transformers.

  • Perform both low and high voltage rewinds and refurbishment of electric motors and generators.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within specified timeframes to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
  • Contribute to team success by taking on additional tasks as needed, supporting the smooth operation of the workshop.
