About the Role:

AERIUS Marine UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in the development of Marine HVAC systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC control systems for our clients in the Naval, Commercial, and Offshore Renewable Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clients' requirements into viable system designs
  • Develop and manage the control philosophy for the HVAC system
  • Produce specifications for supplier/subcontractor deliverables
  • Manage all aspects of the HVAC control system design and the electrical equipment within the HVAC system
  • Manage the HVAC control systems interface with other ship systems
  • Production of design documentation in accordance with contract requirements
  • Liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
  • Proven design experience with Marine Electrical Systems
  • Experience with naval electrical standards and classification societies
  • Proven client interface capability
  • Proven supplier management capability
  • Experience of PLC control and Control Panel design and specification
