Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Paediatrics Diabetes Nurse Specialist to join our established team at the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert nursing care to patients with diabetes, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, and developing and implementing services to improve patient outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to lead and influence change, act as a facilitator and mentor to colleagues, and contribute to the quality and efficiency of care provided to patients.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,890 - £44,503 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Requirements
  • Current NMC registration
  • 1st degree in nursing or health-related subject
  • Relevant accredited post-registration at level 3
  • Qualification in teaching and assessing
  • Evidence of masters-level academic study or willingness to work towards masters (in relevant health-related subject)
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification
  • Management qualification
