We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a category A Prison located in Littleton.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include providing safe and secure medicines management, maintaining patient medical records, and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver non-judgmental care within the scope of professional standards, involving the timely administration of medicines and analyzing cost-effective prescribing.
- Forge strong links within our teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of.

Person Specification
We are looking for candidates with:
- NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Up-to-date Continual Professional Development (CPD).
- Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
- General GCSE education or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
