Job Title: Interim Group Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Group Accountant to join our team at We Do Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert accounting and financial reporting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a commercial finance partner, engaging with stakeholders and driving value
  • Prepare and review group consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Manage year-end accounting and monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Facilitate internal and external audit processes, ensuring seamless execution
  • Spearhead process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide support for controls, risk management, and compliance efforts, ensuring a strong control environment
  • Conduct comprehensive balance sheet and P&L reviews, identifying areas for improvement
  • Prepare statutory accounts and contribute to month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency
  • Contribute to FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and planning, to drive business growth
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience gained in a large, complex business, with a strong background in accounting or audit
  • Strong commercial finance skills, with a focus on group reporting and financial analysis
