Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets, and in-house ducting. You will work closely with our project management team and report to the Field Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing new equipment, including PVC/Polypropylene ducting and welding
  • Providing scheduled, preventative, and reactive maintenance/servicing on fume cupboards, Class I & II safety cabinets, and LEV systems
  • Calibrating/validating, modifying, and commissioning systems
  • Providing post-installation training for customers
  • Performing on-site risk assessments
  • Being computer literate, with all reporting carried out on a laptop

Requirements:

  • Experience of installation and service of A/C, HVAC systems
  • A full (ideally) clean driving license and ability to pass DBS and police authority checks
