About the Role

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements and capital investments to install or replace assets across our UK Manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective process monitoring tools and techniques to fully quantify process characteristics and monitor process variation.
  • Manage and implement key projects associated with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Process Improvement.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules to effectively execute capital investment on time, within budget, while maintaining a high level of coordination and communication with stakeholders.
  • Work with relevant managers, coordinators, and external suppliers to identify production and process methods to improve machine efficiencies.
  • Support commissioning of new equipment within the manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards, implementation of Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Instructions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Competent user of AutoCAD to view and edit site drawings.
  • Competent user of MS Office applications.
  • Experience in 3D design software (Autodesk Inventor) is desirable.
