Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Trust Registrar to join our team at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work full-time and be part of a wider network to strengthen care pathways and support ongoing workforce development.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for managing acute emergencies in paediatrics and neonates, running outpatient clinics, and teaching junior doctors and medical students. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other NHS organisations within the area as part of our commitment to developing both workforce and services within the Tees Valley and wider integrated care system.

Requirements
  • Two years of experience working in paediatrics, with at least six months in tertiary Neonatal Intensive care
  • Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and commitment to continuing medical education
  • Working knowledge of IT and ability to manage junior doctors and medical students
Desirable Qualifications
  • MRCPCH/DCH or equivalent
  • Previous experience in rota and supervision
  • Any teaching qualification
