Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be responsible for managing acute emergencies in paediatrics and neonates, running outpatient clinics, and teaching junior doctors and medical students. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other NHS organisations within the area as part of our commitment to developing both workforce and services within the Tees Valley and wider integrated care system.
Requirements- Two years of experience working in paediatrics, with at least six months in tertiary Neonatal Intensive care
- Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and commitment to continuing medical education
- Working knowledge of IT and ability to manage junior doctors and medical students
- MRCPCH/DCH or equivalent
- Previous experience in rota and supervision
- Any teaching qualification
