Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Location: Cardiff

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at One Construction Group Ltd. As a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy, we are expanding our operations in major highways, rail, and utilities projects in and around Cardiff.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage project costs, including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
  2. Administer contracts, including negotiations, variations, and claims.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure project delivery meets quality, time, and budget requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including cost estimation and contract administration tools.
