Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with the project team to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
  • Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiate competitive pricing.
  • Maintain a database of historical cost data for reference and benchmarking purposes.
  • Proficient in using estimation software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and building codes in South Wales is an advantage.
