Administrative Support Position

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel.


About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial information in Xero, including daily bank reconciliation and preparation of journals.
  • They will work closely with the Business Support Executive and Managing Director, providing administrative support for various finance and accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  2. Process purchase invoices through Lightyear and Dext, including matching to purchase orders and coding.
  3. Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries to ensure costs align with relevant accounting periods.

Requirements:
  1. Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  2. Experience of working with Xero is preferred, although other accounting platforms will be considered.
  3. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
