Accounting Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial information in Xero, including daily bank reconciliation and preparation of journals.
- They will work closely with the Business Support Executive and Managing Director, providing administrative support for various finance and accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Process purchase invoices through Lightyear and Dext, including matching to purchase orders and coding.
- Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries to ensure costs align with relevant accounting periods.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience of working with Xero is preferred, although other accounting platforms will be considered.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
