Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support in our Community Paediatrics department. The successful candidate will be based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and will be responsible for providing clerical and word processing duties as directed by the team.

Main Duties

  • Undertake clerical and word processing duties as directed by the team.
  • Assist with the booking and rearranging of appointments as directed by the team.
  • Deal with enquiries from health professionals, colleagues, and the public under the guidance of the administrative team.
  • File reports and letters within individual case notes following relevant protocols and in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail and distribute accordingly.

Requirements

  • A good standard of education and good communication skills.
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and be efficient and organized with their own workload.
  • Keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Office Package.
  • A good telephone manner and communication skills.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.
