About the Role

Chewton Glen, a renowned luxury hotel, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Meals Assistant to join their team. As a Staff Meals Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to staff members by ensuring a clean and welcoming environment in the staff canteen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Thoroughly clean the dining area and serving cabinets, restock food items, crockery, and cutlery, and wipe down surfaces as needed.
  • Food Service: Confidently serve hot food to staff members, ensuring portion control and presentation.
  • Post-Service Tasks: Clear away leftover food items, cover and refrigerate items needed for the evening service, and clean cabinets and surfaces.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in restaurant or food service is desirable.
  • Skills: Confidence, enthusiasm, and passion for your work, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Availability: Availability to work evenings during the week and/or weekend daytimes.
