Job Title: Service Technician

NCH Europe is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the East Midlands, based out of our Northampton depot. As a key member of our PureSolve brand team, you will be responsible for providing technical and service assistance to our clients and line managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of required reporting.
  • Maintain company-provided equipment.
Accountabilities:
  • As part of a team of technicians, carry out repairs and servicing of machines through your designated territory.
  • Prepare products for dispatch.
  • Receive deliveries and arrange collections of waste off-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Repair and refurbish degreasing equipment.
  • Warehouse duties include receiving deliveries, booking goods in, managing waste, and necessary drum cleaning, packing small consumable items, and other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Current full driving license.
  • Mechanical and electrical understanding required.
  • Ability to use power tools, ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety policies and practices is essential.
  • Engineering background desirable, plus relevant warehouse experience.
  • Previous customer service experience desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, tablets, and CRM software.
  • Flexible to work away from home and at short notice, weekends, or hours outside of the normal working day.
