Service Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), service work, and attending breakdowns on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems. This will include tasks like pressure adjustments, part replacements, and troubleshooting. You will also act as an escalation point for more complex issues, requiring someone with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PPM and service maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Attend and resolve breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
  • Replace and repair components as needed.
  • Manage service reports and communicate with clients.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, and maintenance roles.
  • F-Gas certification is a must.
  • Decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
  • Geographically local to ensure efficient travel to service sites.
Benefits:
  • Company van and fuel card provided for work use.
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates plus OT after 5 pm, 1.5x pay, and double time on weekends.

Interview Process:
