Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve working closely with the operational team to plan and execute projects, as well as managing subcontractors and ensuring that site safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of project delivery
  • Mentor operational staff to continually improve their outputs, safely and in line with customer expectations
  • Support ongoing tenders for all 3rd party work to advise on final technical solutions prior to tender submission
  • Work in collaboration with operational management team to plan reinstatement works during construction phase
  • Oversee Grab & Reinstatement staff to ensure they are delivering in line with programme and to the right quality, in line with company and client procedures
  • Weekly meeting with the operational managers and directors to update on programme and share best practice on learnings through the week
  • Support with periodic stand downs/TBT's – with operational staff and management

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in multi-utilities
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of cable laying and electrical networks
  • Ability to challenge and praise workforce at the right time
  • Be a competent IT User (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Have experience of working to NRSWA standards, and hold relevant certifications
  • High attention to detail

  • Salary £45,000 - £65,000 (negotiable depending on skills and experience)
