Job Overview

We are seeking a Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Avery Healthcare. As a key member of our care home staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry within the care home.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out cleaning duties in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that all areas of the care home are well-presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Treating residents with dignity and respect, respecting their personal space and belongings.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
  • Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
  • Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry services to residents.

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 per annum
