As a key member of our team, you will provide a comprehensive and high-quality switchboard and call handling service to Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Main Duties- Answer calls to the switchboard in a polite and correct manner
- Understand and use the switchboard console effectively
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations and initiate procedures as required
- Log emergency call details and monitor alarms
- Provide general information to members of the public and colleagues
- Operate University Clinical Trials computers and input data
- Manage bleeps and radio pagers, including diverting and testing
