Job Title: Strategic Project Manager

Job Description:

Morson Talent is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading defence organisation to recruit a 'Strategy' focused Project Manager for an initial 18 month contract. The role would involve a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days a week on site in Warton and 1-2 days a week working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a 5, 10 and 15 year long term business strategy for Support & Services.
  • Developing with the lines of business, complementary enabling Product and Service strategies.
  • Supporting the leadership of Customer engagement at a strategy and policy level.

About the Role:

The role is key to strategically developing and growing my client's personnel support business.

Support and Services are made up of the following capabilities delivered to my client's Customers:

  • Maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness
  • Through Life Engineering
  • Supply Chain, Spares and Repairs
  • Service & Performance Management
  • Training Services
  • Mission Systems Services

Requirements:

  • Ability to adopt a strategic mindset, thinking outside of day to day tactical delivery opportunities with a longer term view.
  • Deploy a high level of stakeholder management skills in coordinating a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Be an advocate for developing an enterprise strategy, helping stakeholders to understand how it relates to them and implications for their own strategies.
