About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide educational and training opportunities for junior staff
Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in General Adult Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and cope with competing demands
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
