Service Charge Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Charge Manager to join our Shared Services Partnership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting rents and service charges for our tenants and leaseholders, while ensuring income is maximised and residents are fully engaged.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and expertise in rent and service charge setting, as well as specialist knowledge of leasehold management and legislative requirements. They will be able to lead on all utilities within Housing Management, ensuring meters are read, payments made to suppliers, and cost recovered from end users.
The Service Charge Manager will work closely with other Council departments and key stakeholders to achieve excellent performance and high-quality outcomes for our residents. They will also be responsible for scrutinising all bills against meter reads and ensuring the Council's interests are protected.
About YouWe are looking for a customer-focused and financially astute individual with excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and in writing. The successful candidate will be able to understand and interpret complex information and present to a variety of audiences.
They will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work collaboratively across teams and departments. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and motivate a team of 6, ensuring that income is maximised while residents are fully engaged.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of £55,497 - £63,045 per annum, as well as a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.
