The Opportunity

The Global Category Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategic procurement within their designated category, developing both global and local strategies to deliver cost improvements, efficiency, and value. This position requires a strong understanding of best practice approaches to procurement, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead procurement projects, negotiations, and supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with global standards and risk policies.
  • Develop and implement effective strategic sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and commercial performance management strategies.
  • Analyze data insights to inform decisions and track progress, building strong partnerships across the business.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have demonstrable procurement experience within the professional and business services category areas, such as financial services, outsourced providers, staffing, legal, and adjacent industries with multi-regional exposure. A strong knowledge of contracts and ability to articulate and negotiate key risks and requirements are essential.
