Job Title: Licensing Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Officer to join our team at Bradford Council. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for administering HC/PH licence applications, ensuring compliance with statutory provisions and Council policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Verify documents and applications against established guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient maintenance of information systems and databases.
  • Utilize a range of IT packages to complete tasks and provide information to service users.
  • Interpret licensing legislation and policy in a fair and proportionate manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in IT packages, including management information systems.

Working Arrangements:

This is a permanent position based at Shearbridge Depot, with hybrid working arrangements when established in the role.
