Job Title: Registered Fostering ManagerJob Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the development and management of our parent and child fostering provision. The successful candidate will have a passion for fostering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a strong understanding of the regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the agency, ensuring the effective delivery of services in line with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Management: Run the day-to-day operations of the agency, including the management, recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Recruitment: To have lead responsibility for Rees Parent and Child Fostering strategy for the recruitment, assessment, preparation, training and retention of prospective foster carers.
  • Case Management: Oversee the assessment, placement, and review process for parent and child fostering placements, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and support to families.
Requirements:
  • Social Worker with relevant qualifications to act as the Registered Manager.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a fostering or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of the regulatory framework.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in parent and child assessments.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and family support interventions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
