Job Description

**Electronics Test Engineer Role**

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join our client, a renowned engineering company, at their central Norwich site. As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the factory acceptance testing of a wide range of machinery, from component level to final assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and circuit diagrams
  • Proficient in soldering, crimping, lacing, and splicing
  • Competent in the use of electronic test equipment and able to follow complex test specifications
  • Fault finding and diagnosing in a methodical manner
  • Familiarity with various Mil Spec Connectors, Cable Ident, and Cable production techniques
  • ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) awareness
  • Assembly and testing/repair of PCBs

Requirements:

  • Recognized apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering
  • Education to a minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant discipline
