Job SummaryThe Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance division operates effectively. This includes overseeing candidate compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Compliance to drive the division's performance and maintain high standards of compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the performance of the compliance division, ensuring candidate compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, working closely with the Head of Compliance.
- Monitor compliance activities and ensure all compliance objectives are met.
- Escalate compliance issues to the Head of Compliance as required.
- Support the Head of Compliance in managing the compliance division, including developing and implementing compliance strategies.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports and documentation.
- Assist with conducting internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Implement compliance-related technology solutions, working closely with the Head of Compliance.
- Address compliance-related inquiries and issues from clients.
- Act as Head of Compliance in their absence, ensuring continuity in compliance oversight and management.
- Minimum 4 years' experience within the healthcare recruitment market, specifically within compliance.
- Extensive experience in the healthcare recruitment sector with a focus on compliance, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry practices.
- Senior leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams at a senior level.
- Evidence of high customer satisfaction in previous positions, reflecting strong client relationship management and service delivery skills.
- Experience of using CRM systems, such as VDQ, Eclipse, and Now We Comply, for effective candidate and client data management and compliance tracking.
- Excellent English language skills, with exceptional spoken and written communication and comprehension.
- Strong MS Office and Adobe skills, enabling efficient creation, editing, and management of documents, reports, and presentations.
- Strong motivator, able to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Teamwork, skilled in collaborating with colleagues and teams to achieve shared objectives.
